Save Dragon Oil
Rescue Dragon from the clutches of ENOC
Rescue Dragon from the clutches of ENOC
I just got back from the pub and it turns out that we won! The ENOC takeover has been defeated! It turns out that the vote was defeated by # of shares rather than # of votes so this shows that BG and probably JPM must have voted AGAINST the takeover. Many thanks to them and everyone who took part in the mailing/calling campaigns!

And many thanks to you for organising this campaign and website. The RNS announcement made me chuckle. Dragon is referred to as a “majority owned subsidiary of ENOC” – I’d prefer an independent, publicly quoted company with a majority shareholder. The cheek of these people! For me this is only Phase 1. Now we need to get Dragon’s Board to run the company in our interest by investing its cash pile and paying dividends.

Well done Robert. All the hard work has paid off!
The sheer arrogance of ENOC was their major downfall.
Its a great day for all the minority shareholders!

Jubilation !!
Unfortunately the ridiculous process of going through the offer means there is now a lot of cleaning and catching up to do.
ENOC have acted selfishly in this matter to the detriment of the business as a whole. DGO have missed the opportunity to use our $1bn to make strategic acquisitions at best price during the last 6 months.
DGO needs to work hard now to bring gas to market and move the principle listing to London.
But oh Happy Days !!

Ole!….. and well done Robert for setting this site up and well done to everyone who helped contact people on the list.
We have indeed been rewarded for our efforts.
Might I suggest that we now get rid of a few of our board members starting with McCue.
